The event drew renowned Hong Kong and mainland directors/producers including Raymond Wong, Zhang Quanxin, Clifton Ko, Bruce Law, Lee Lik-chi, Billy Chung, Johnny Shing and Chen Haowei, alongside video participation from industry figures like Francis Ko and Gan Xiao'er.

Delegates from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Huizhou, Dongguan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing's film service agencies also attended the symposium.

Discussions centered on strategies to elevate Zhongshan's film industry, with participants commending its growth potential while proposing actionable recommendations.

A landmark development saw eight industry luminaries—Raymond Wong, Zhang Quanxin, Clifton Ko, Bruce Law, Lee Lik-chi, Billy Chung, Johnny Shing and Chen Haowei—establish celebrity film studios in Zhongshan. These ventures aim to attract premium film and TV IPs and talent, fostering the creation of high-caliber, commercially successful works.

The event also marked the launch of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Micro-Short Drama Industry Alliance. Zhongshan will capitalize on its geographic proximity, industrial ecosystem and specialized film services to accelerate micro-short drama production upgrades.

Strategic milestones included Guangdong Zhongshan Culture and Tourism Group and Zhongshan Studio City signing multiple cooperation agreements to strengthen industry collaboration.
