The Huawei Cloud City Summit 2025 took place in Zhongshan on August 12, during which the Huawei (Zhongshan) Industrial AI Promotion Center was officially launched. Leveraging the city's robust industrial foundation in smart home, next-generation information technology and other sectors, the center will facilitate deep integration of digital technologies with the real economy, accelerating the digital and intelligent transformation of Zhongshan's manufacturing sector.

Jointly established by Zhongshan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Huawei Cloud and West Bay Information Technology (a subsidiary of Zhongshan Talent and Digital Group), the center will provide full-cycle transformation support——covering diagnostics, evaluation and implementation——for SMEs, ecosystem partners and developers. It will advance the application of AI across manufacturing, government affairs, community services, education, healthcare and other areas to cultivate a diversified ecosystem.

According to a senior executive from Zhongshan Talent and Digital Group, Zhongshan will allocate over 10 million yuan annually for the next three years for local enterprises to make use of the center. Approved business service projects may receive subsidies covering up to 50% of their costs, with an annual maximum of 1 million yuan for an enterprise's digital transformation and 300,000 yuan for product intelligence projects of each enterprise.

At the summit, five Zhongshan-based companies including TCL AC Zhongshan and Weili signed letters of intent to become the center's inaugural partners.
