The exhibition features theme zones that systematically explore Song Dynasty trade policies, maritime customs systems, export industries, navigation skills and shipping networks, offering visitors a comprehensive immersion into the splendor of the Maritime Silk Road in the Song Dynasty.

Dating back over 800 years, merchant vessel"Nanhai #1" carrying a treasure trove of goods sank off the coast of Guangdong. As China's first fully excavated Song Dynasty shipwreck, its discovery in 1987 captivated global attention.
