A press conference for the 2025 Guangdong International Overseas Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at Zhongshan Daily on June 17. 

As a special competition focusing on artificial intelligence and robotics, the event will kick off at the Future Technology Center of the Bay Area in Cuiheng New District on June 23, spanning a 3-month timeline.

The competition schedule includes: June-July as the registration period, during which the organizing committee will conduct comprehensive promotional activities both online and offline targeting overseas Chinese associations, research institutions, and incubation hubs worldwide; July-August as the evaluation phase; and September for the finals. Parallel activities such as entrepreneurship boot camps and investment-financing matching sessions will be organized throughout these periods.
