Construction on the Panda Li commercial sports and leisure complex commenced on May 27.
Located southwest of the Pandas Heritage Stadium, Panda Li covers an area of 22.73 mu (about 1.52 hectares), with a total investment of 150 million yuan.
This new-type culture-sports-tourism complex combines boutique hotels, sports facilities, characteristic commerce and leisure entertainment. It features a 230-room hotel, professional indoor sports venues for basketball, badminton, tennis and five-a-side baseball, an intangible cultural heritage food street, a sportswear shopping block, and innovative "sports rehabilitation + cultural performances" space.
Specifically, the Panda Li project will form a Greater Bay Area sports industry cluster alongside the Zhongshan International Baseball & Softball Center (146 mu large, with a total investment of 400 million yuan), serving as a logistics hub, athlete reception hub, and cultural exchange platform for events hosted at the Center.
