A conference was held on May 23 in Beijing to honor the seventh batch of national civilized cities, towns/villages and organizations, as well as the third batch of national civilized families and schools.

At the conference, Zhongshan was awarded the title of "National Civilized City" for the seventh consecutive time, and 14 towns/villages, organizations, families and schools were honored with national titles.

National Civilized Towns/Villages: Xiaolan Town, Guinan Village (Wuguishan Sub-district), Jieyuan Village (Minzhong Sub-district), Shengshi Village (Shaxi Town), and Lixi Village (Banfu Town).

National Civilized Organizations: Zhongshan Meteorological Bureau, Zhongshan Port Customs, East District Sub-district Office, Xinshi Community (Xiaolan Town), Zhongshan Lanju Daily Chemical Industrial Co Ltd, and Xiyuan Community (West District Sub-district).

National Civilized Family: The Long Yingnv Family.

National Civilized Schools: No.1 Middle School of Zhongshan, Zhongshan Shiqi Tiyulu School.
