Born in 2009, Chen grew up in Gangkou and attended Minzhu Primary School. She has been on a steady rise on the track, defending her women's 100m title at the National Youth (U18) Championships in both 2024 and 2025, cementing her reputation as the undisputed "100m queen" among her age group nationwide. She also won gold in the women's 200m at the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, standing atop the podium at Asia's premier youth event.

The 20th Asian Games will be held in Japan from September 19 to October 4. Among the 6 Guangdong athletes on the roster, Chen is the youngest.
