The 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center on May 21.

More than 20 key cultural enterprises from Zhongshan took part in the event. The 108-square-meter exhibition area blended Zhongshan's cultural heritage, smart manufacturing and interactive experiences, drawing large crowds of visitors and buyers.

The trendy toy robot model "Robo X TANG Wukong" presented by toy maker Sewco stole the spotlight. According to designer Tang Zeming, the product uses technology to interpret a new vibrant spirit of Chinese people, deeply aligned with Zhongshan's identity as a hometown of overseas Chinese. He added that the company will have more original projects launched in Zhongshan.

The year of 2026 marks the 160th anniversary of Dr Sun Yat-sen's birth. Elephant Sculpture Art Co crafted a dedicated themed exhibition zone featuring lifelike wax figures of Sun Yat-sen and his wife Soong Ching-ling. Visitors lined up for photos, making it the most popular selfie spot in the Zhongshan pavilion.
