To cope with peak passenger demand, Zhongshan Station will add extra trains to Guangxi's Nanning during the Qingming Festival travel rush period (five days from April 3 to 7), and launch its first Nanjing South-bound sleeper train of the year.

Passenger flow will peak at 15,300 departures on April 4 and 15,100 arrivals on April 6.
On April 3 and 6, Nanning-bound train D4358 will depart from the station at 22:21. On April 1, the Nanjing South-bound sleeper train D4942 will depart at 18:38.
For high-demand routes, trains including D3666, D3646, G6156, D1888, G398, G3750 and G6340 will operate in double-unit configuration at staggered times.
