The Zhongshan Institute of Advanced Cryogenic Technology (ZIAC) announced the public opening of its hydrogen-related laboratory on December 16, enabling enterprises to advance in the hydrogen industry.

Li Anran, head of ZIAC's Liquid Hydrogen and Energy Storage Center, stated that rooted in Zhongshan and serving the Greater Bay Area, ZIAC has evolved into one of the world's most advanced platforms for large-scale cryogenic system engineering integration and testing after years of development. With over 5,000 square meters of specialized experimental space, the hydrogen lab possesses robust capabilities for external services.
The lab primarily serves hydrogen value chain enterprises across the Greater Bay Area and globally, covering hydrogen production, storage and transport, refueling, fuel cells, and core component manufacturing. It also supports universities and research institutions conducting hydrogen-related R&D, significantly reducing their capital and operational costs.
