The ethereal "Golden Light" set the tone, followed by emotional pieces like "People Say" and "Viewing the Vast Sea". The Shenzhen Opera & Dance Theater choir's versions of "Serenade" and "Chorus of Marchers" also made their China debut.

Later on the evening of August 24, the "Poya Songbook: Buds of Written Words" concert was staged at the grand theater of Zhongshan Culture and Art Center.

The Poya Songbook of the Funing Zhuang ethnic group, an indigenous pictographic script created by the Luoyue people, chronicles a love story of a young couple progressing from their first acquaintance to lifelong commitment. This cultural treasure was inscribed as a national-level intangible cultural heritage in 2011.

The concert fuses ancient Poya love songs with contemporary choral art, granting Zhongshan audiences an intimate encounter with the unique allure of China's national intangible cultural heritage.
