The 9th Youth Training Camp of Sun Yat-sen Research commenced on August 11 at the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen in Zhongshan.

The week-long academic event has drawn 25 young scholars from China's premier institutions, including Peking University, the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Fudan University, Beijing Normal University, Nankai University, Central China Normal University, Sun Yat-sen University and the Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences.

Highlights include a theme lecture, 8 special seminars and 4 interactive workshops, all led by 9 eminent scholars of Sun Yat-sen studies through face-to-face mentorship.
