On June 17, at a Huawei store in MixC in Zhongshan's Shiqi sub-district, an international traveler from the United States completed the "instant tax refund" process, receiving an immediate refund on-site. This marked Zhongshan's first successful implementation of the "instant tax refund upon purchase" service.

The traveler experienced the State Taxation Administration's newly expanded tax refund policy launched nationwide in April, which advances the refund process from "post-departure" to "point-of-sale" and lowers the refund threshold from 500 yuan to 200 yuan.

Since the opening of the ShenZhong Link, Zhongshan has leveraged its strategic position in the Greater Bay Area to attract international tourists. Currently, two stores offer this service, including Huawei's MixC store and DJI's authorized store in Shiqi Dasin Metro Mall.
