From June 5 to 9, a Zhongshan business delegation comprising representatives of government departments, leading enterprises and industry associations embarked on a Heilongjiang exchange mission to deepen collaboration between "Made in Zhongshan" products and regional resources, aiming to unlock new trade pathways to Russia.
The delegation featured over 30 companies spanning traditional manufacturing sectors like small home appliances, apparel and lighting, as well as emerging industries including smart home technologies and robotics. Through site visits, project matchmaking, and in-depth dialogs, the initiative seeks to integrate Zhongshan's industrial strengths with Heilongjiang's resource advantages.
In 2024, Zhongshan's Russia-bound trade reached 8.27 billion yuan, marking an 18.2% year-on-year surge. Notably, smart home devices and health appliances have emerged as "new necessities" in the Russian market, contributing significantly to the city's total annual exports of 249.14 billion yuan.
