Zhenhua Community in Zhongshan's Sanxiang Town has been leveraging its "community partner" mechanism to engage Hong Kong and Macao residents in grassroots governance. This initiative has attracted cross-border resources from Hong Kong and Macao and benefited over 5,000 residents.
As a new-type urban community integrating administrative, commercial, residential and educational functions, Zhenhua Community is strategically located near the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and ShenZhong Link. It serves as a hub for more than 6,000 Hong Kong and Macao compatriots engaged in business ventures, property investments, employment and education.
The community has established a service center for Hong Kong and Macao people on the mainland, offering 28 specialized "cross-border service packages". Notably, the "Guangdong-Macao social insurance one-stop service" enables cross-region handling of social security matters.
In collaboration with the Zhongshan Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Zhenhua Community has pioneered a "Health Promotion Partnership" initiative, which brings quality medical services directly to residents in the Greater Bay Area.
