Zhongshan recently released a new set of 10 measures to facilitate export-oriented enterprises to tap the domestic market. The measures will remain effective until December 31, 2026.
To expand domestic sales channels, Zhongshan will offer incentives to enterprises that establish independent legal entities or industrial activity units to engage in domestic sales. Enterprises using e-commerce platforms to tap the domestic market will receive financial support from the government, with a maximum annual subsidy of 300,000 yuan each. Enterprises are also encouraged to expand sales channels through live-streaming, and a maximum subsidy of 300,000 yuan will be granted to cover the cost of building live-streaming studios.
Zhongshan has selected 20 key domestic exhibitions and set up special exhibition zones. A maximum subsidy of 30,000 yuan will be granted to exhibitors to cover the booth fee and an extra 30,000 yuan to those in special exhibition zones. The government will cooperate with airlines to provide discounted air tickets and transportation subsidies for exhibitors.
Zhongshan will establish branches of the Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Center, and provide financial support to eligible applicants, encouraging them to improve intellectual property rights-related work. A maximum subsidy of 300,000 yuan will be granted to cover the cost of overseas rights protection. A one-time subsidy of up to 30,000 yuan will be granted to organizations newly certified under the ISO 56005 International Standard (Innovation Management - Guidelines for Intellectual Property Management).
