The Minemine Quarry Diving Camp, nicknamed "The Blue Eye" by local people, was unveiled in Caobian Village, South District on April 26. It is the first licensed quarry diving camp in Zhongshan.

Leveraging Caobian Village's thousand-year legacy as an overseas Chinese hometown with pristine natural landscape, the camp has transformed a 4-hectare natural quarry into a diving destination. It features depths up to 30 meters and visibility of up to 10 meters, creating an immersive underwater environment.

"We have already invested some million yuan and will keep upgrading facilities," the operator stated. "Alongside water sports like paddleboarding, we are developing unique underwater attractions, including a shipwreck-themed dive zone."

The camp offers core services such as beginner-friendly diving sessions and professional certification courses, alongside leisure options such as lawn camping. This mix precisely caters to families, friend groups and solo travelers seeking diverse recreational experiences.
