With upgraded decorative lighting, the expo city integrates cutting-edge technology with artistic creativity to serve as a new showroom of Zhongshan's lighting industry.

Longdu Li Food & Culture Street reopens with enhanced charm, while Lingnan Opera City debuts a curated series of performances. Meanwhile, the expo city will launch exclusive promotions during the holiday along with flagship rosewood brands.

Step into a century-old adventure at Sunwen West Road

Zhongshan's "No.1 Road" — the Sunwen West Road pedestrian street — reopens with a new look, blending century-old heritage with radiant modern charm to welcome global guests.

Sunwen West Road embodies a masterful fusion of classical Chinese and Western architecture. Preserved treasures like exquisite wood carvings and gray plasterwork exemplify this cross-cultural craftsmanship. The sinuous street layout, comfortable outdoor spaces, and Nanyang-style arcades create a seamless blend of functionality and picturesque streetscape. More than architectural relics, these buildings chronicle Zhongshan's urban evolution while cradling the collective nostalgia of hundreds of thousands of overseas Zhongshanese.

Embrace nature at Wuguishan's Changkeng Reservoir

Nestled in Wuguishan's Changkeng Reservoir forest, the Changkeng Nature Trail winds through woodlands and streams, revealing a hidden 100-meter waterfall and Hakka villages mirrored in the azure waters. Designed with ecological preservation in mind, this trail seamlessly merges with its natural surroundings. Scheduled to debut during this year's National Day holiday, it offers a harmonious blend of cultural heritage and pristine nature.

This 5.1-kilometer ecological trail weaves through Changkeng Reservoir's natural wonders — forests, waters and waterfalls — while connecting cultural landmarks like villages, the Qi'ao Ancient Road, and revolutionary heritage sites.

Unwind at old grain depots and rice fields

The Haikou Granary, a scenic waterfront complex of 16 warehouses, rises on the northeastern bank of Jiya Waterway. To the east, a majestic bald cypress grove graces the Nansha–Zhongshan Expressway approach, while to the west, a sprawling wetland park borders the Guangzhou–Macao Expressway entry.

The project unveils a 13.33-hectare immersive culture and tourism sanctuary, featuring five themed activity hubs: the Century-Old Kapok Café, a wetland fishing camp, a grassland music bazaar, and etc.

The Bubble Tourism Park, also in Minzhong subdistrict, will launch its trial operations during National Day holiday, evolving into an integrated culture and tourism destination. This waterfront haven merges a family recreation base, an artisan homestay, a curated specialty food street and a local product showcase center.
