The Sunwen West Road pedestrian street reopened to the public on September 28 in its new appearance. Chen Sue Meng, curator of Sun Yat-sen Perak Museum (under construction) - Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Development in Malaysia, recently visited this historical block.

"It's wonderful." She feels the architectural style of the buildings on Sunwen West Road is similar to that of many buildings in Malaysia, reflecting the promotion of cultural exchanges by overseas Chinese. She hopes that the two places can collaborate and carry out more exchanges in the future.
