The Q2 train schedule adjustments for Zhongshan's Nantou railway station will take effect on April 15, prioritizing intercity commuting upgrades between the west bank of Pearl River Estuary and the Guangzhou-Foshan metropolitan area.

The station then will operate 9 northbound trains (to Guangzhou South and Foshan West stations) and 6 southbound trains (to Zhuhai station).

These will include 3 new Foshan West-bound services (C7662, C7678, C7686), enabling direct links to Foshan's central downtown. Through routes including C7734 (Jiangmen station), C6906 (Zhanjiang West station) and C7673 (Sanshui South station), Nantou station will be connected to western, central and northern Guangdong intercity corridors.

During April 15 to 28, services C7628 and C7686 will be temporarily suspended. Travelers should verify schedules via official website and app of 12306 before departure.
