GBA dragon boat invitational set for March 1 in Zhongshan

The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan Tanzhou) Dragon Boat Invitational will take place on March 1.
Fifteen teams from across the GBA will gather at Anfu River in Tanzhou Town to offer a thrilling blend of speed and intangible cultural heritage.
Beyond the races, the event will feature performances including Saltwater Songs, a national intangible cultural heritage item, dynamic lion dances, and dragon boat-themed dances. A park activity will also be held at Tanzhou Yile Park.
The event uses an online reservation system. Spectators can scan the QR code to register for viewing spots with real names (up to 2 per WeChat account). Reservations close once full.
