The "2025 China Small and Medium-Sized Cities Development Report" recently released has revealed this year's national top 1,000 administrative towns based on comprehensive strength indices.

Guangdong Province secured 134 spots on the list, ranking third nationally after Jiangsu and Zhejiang. 

Among them, Zhongshan stands out with 13 towns making the cut. Xiaolan Town leads the pack as the sole Guangdong town in the national top 100.

The full Zhongshan lineup includes: Xiaolan (32), Tanzhou (154), Gangkou (177), Sanxiang (234), Guzhen (264), Sanjiao (322), Dongfeng (342), Nantou (352), Fusha (383), Huangpu (424), Henglan (451), Banfu (490), and Shaxi (664).
