Bustling activity filled the QLT Innovation Industrial Park in Zhongshan's Sanjiao Town on July 8. In an air-conditioner manufacturer's workshop, assembly lines operated at full capacity. "After seven years' development here, our output value will jump from 300 million to 700 million yuan with the new plant," said the company executive.

Spanning 35,000 square meters, the park is undergoing demolition and reconstruction of six existing workshops while constructing 119,000 square meters of new facilities to create a modern industrial complex totaling 136,000 square meters.

This transformation exemplifies Sanjiao's industrial park renovation initiative. To date, the town has reorganized2,129.48 mu (142 hectares)of underutilized land, with all 29 approved projects underway. Involving 5.7 billion yuan in investment, these projects will add 2.45 million square meters of new industrial space.
