"Just take one queue number, submit documents at a single counter, and handle all retirement matters in one go — no need to run between different offices. It's incredibly convenient," said Ms Zhang after completing her business at the Zhongshan Administrative Service Hall.

The citywide "One-Stop Retirement Service for Enterprise Employees" allows residents to complete over 10 cross-departmental procedures, including tax contribution suspension, pension retirement processing, and medical insurance retirement, in as little as 30 minutes.

As of October 21, Zhongshan has processed more than 30,000 cases under this service, accounting for approximately 50% of the city's total retirement cases.
