According to the municipal bureau of statistics, Zhongshan's 2025 GDP reached 426.056 billion yuan, growing 3.8% year-on-year at constant prices.

Sector-wise, primary industry added value hit 9.818 billion yuan (up 6.3%), secondary industry 218.906 billion yuan (up 3.9%), and tertiary industry 197.332 billion yuan (up 3.6%).

Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery output hit 16.080 billion yuan (up 6.3%). Industrial added value (above-scale) grew 5.4%, and service sector 3.6%. Fixed asset investment contracted 22.6%, while total retail sales of consumer goods rose 3.4%.

Zhongshan's CPI (consumer price index) dropped 0.4%, while per capita disposable income climbed 2.7% to 66,837 yuan.
