Over 20,000 Zhongshan couples register marriages in 2025

Data released by the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province reveals that some 614,000 couples registered marriages in 2025 province-wide, up 19.92% year-on-year.
Zhongshan registered 20,247 marriages in 2025, a 56.4% year-on-year surge, placing it 10th province-wide; divorces totaled 8,587, up 19.3% year-on-year.
