From December 13 to 14, the 5th Zhongshan-Latin America Exchange Festival was held in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, bringing together over 30 participants from 10 countries including officials from Latin American consulates general in Guangzhou and student representatives.

On December 14, they visited the Zhongshan Cultural Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where they viewed traditional Chinese medicine specimens and learned about the history and development of traditional Chinese medicine. They also sampled health-enhancing TCM herbal tea and experienced modern facilities such as digital interactive programs, a VR experience zone, and holographic displays.
