In the first half of 2025, the Zhongshan Border Inspection Station handled over 308,300 inbound/outbound passengers and 4,505 passenger ship voyages.

Exit-entry travelers via Zhongshan Passenger Port reached approximately 156,800 departures and 151,500 arrivals. Mainland travelers accounted for 47.5% (146,000), while Hong Kong and Macao residents made up 43.5% (134,000) of the total.

Currently, daily ferry services between Zhongshan and Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal operate with 7 inbound and 7 outbound flights daily. The Zhongshan-Hong Kong International Airport route maintains 4 inbound and 4 outbound flights daily, while Friday-to-Sunday services between Zhongshan and Macao Taipa operate with 2 inbound and 2 outbound flights daily.
