The first phase of Qijiang New Town Public Fitness Center, adjacent to Zhongshan Talent Park, will commence construction in March 2026 with completion targeted for February 2027.

Spanning nearly 90,000 square meters of land area, the project carries an approved budget of about 461.2 million yuan.

Key facilities include outdoor sports venues such as basketball, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, football, table tennis courts and 100m running tracks, support amenities such as changing rooms/restrooms, convenience stores and rest areas, outdoor public infrastructure works, as well as sponge city features.
