The 2025 Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Fair opened on November 28 at Zhongshan's Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Garden and will run through December 15.

Spanning 23.33 hectares, the main venue features eight themed zones, including the chrysanthemum art landscaping zone, lakeside display area, renowned varieties showcase area, a flower sea, and etc.

The event boasts 25 intricate chrysanthemum sculptures, nearly 20 floral photo spots, and 300,000 potted chrysanthemums across nearly 1,000 varieties.

A highlight is the garden's "crown jewel" — a grand upright chrysanthemum sculpture grafted with 721 varieties and trained into 15 tiers, shattering the previous 614-variety Guinness World Record.

Opening day drew tour groups and individual travelers from Jiangmen, Foshan, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. Hanfu lovers in ornate traditional attire strolled among the blooms, adding cultural flair to the floral spectacle.
