"I'm eager to introduce Zhongshan to a wider audience!" Rosa Ng Báez, former presidential adviser of the Dominican Republic, visited Zhongshan on September 13. She explored the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen and Zhongshan Studio City, and thumbed up for the city's cultural and tourism offerings.

At the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen, Rosa was captivated by the tamarind tree planted by Sun Yat-sen, the residence he designed, and the exhibitions on display.

"The natural surroundings here are stunning and serene. The staff's preservation efforts for the buildings and artifacts are thorough and meticulous, and the collections are impressive. Dr Sun Yat-sen was a remarkable figure, making this an ideal spot for youth history education," Rosa remarked.

During her official posting in China, Rosa tirelessly advocated for the establishment of diplomatic ties between the Dominican Republic and the People's Republic of China. She also championed and contributed to the creation of a Chinatown with traditional Chinese cultural elements in the heart of the Dominican capital, winning widespread respect and appreciation from the local Chinese community.
