The 2025 Forum on Town-Level Economy Innovation and Development was held in Beijing on June 5.

The forum unveiled a report on the high-quality development of town-level economy, which conducted a comprehensive evaluation of over 20,000 administrative towns nationwide (excluding municipalities and the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions).

A total of 102 towns in Guangdong, including 12 in Zhongshan, made the "Top 500 in Town-level Economy" list. Xiaolan Town was the only one in Zhongshan ranking among the top 100.
