The groundbreaking ceremony for the FPS global food processing and technology center took place at Shuchong Industrial Park in Zhongshan's South District on November 27.

Founded by Canadian company FPS (Food Process Solutions) , FPS Guangdong is a modern manufacturer integrating R&D, production, sales and service of non-standard food quick-freezing equipment.

Since selecting Zhongshan's South District to enter the Chinese market in 2019, FPS has undertaken three rounds of investment expansion here, reflecting its strong confidence in the subdistrict's business environment.

In 2022, FPS decided to invest in Zhongshan, initiating Phase I construction at Shuchong Industrial Park. 

The Phase II project currently under construction involves an additional investment of 112 million yuan, covering a land area of 12,400 square meters. It is positioned as an integrated complex for food production, R&D innovation and talent development. Upon full operation, Phase II is projected to generate over 224 million yuan in annual output, bringing the combined annual output of two phases to more than 580 million yuan.

Notably, in April 2025, FPS signed an agreement with South District for the Phase III project, a new-type high-efficiency quick-freezing equipment production base, solidifying its long-term investment intent.
