The 15th National Games opened on November 9 with a spotlight on Zhongshan innovation: an eye-care desk lamp from the city sat beside every guest's nameplate on the rostrum.

This lamp has illuminated major events since the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, from the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games and 2023 Chengdu Universiade to the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, now culminating at the 15th National Games. Its enduring presence embodies "Zhongshan Smart Manufacturing": reliable performance meets timeless utility.

The lamp comes from Guangdong Guangyang Electric Co, a lighting firm in Zhongshan's Xiaolan Town. This portable, multi-functional desk lamp integrates an eye-care lamp, flashlight, power bank and phone stand into one. It won the 2018 China International Lighting Design Awards' top prize.
