Guangdong Yifeng Smart Agriculture Co, a subsidiary of Zhongshan Centrone Group, on December 10 formalized an agreement with Hubei Aerospace Jianghe Chemical Co, affiliated to the Sixth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, to acquire 97.4064% equity in its Wuhan Sanjiang Space Good Biotech Co, a nationally recognized SRDI "little giant" enterprise.

As a domestic leader in lactic acid and derivatives, Good Biotech is among the few firms in the industry holding dual certifications for pharmaceutical GMP and food additive production. Its core products serve as critical raw materials for biopharmaceuticals, premium foods, and specialty chemicals.

Currently, Centrone Group has established an integrated modern agricultural chain spanning grain storage/processing, pig farming/slaughter, and food production/distribution. The acquisition positions the group to expand upstream into high-value bio-based chemicals, API (active pharmaceutical ingredients), and future functional/medical foods, marking a strategic shift toward advanced value chains.
