Zhongshan's East District held an investment promotion conference on March 23 at Hilton Zhongshan. Eighteen projects were signed on-site, with total investment exceeding 6.8 billion yuan, spanning such key sectors as artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, urban renewal, and culture-tourism integration.

The event unveiled a set of 18 measures on promoting the high-quality development of the service sector, focusing on financial services, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, manufacturing going global, e-commerce platform construction, human resource services, legal services, and quality brand building.

Six professionals from different industries were appointed as investment promotion advisors.

So far, East District is home to some 150 financial institutions, which provided up to 10 billion yuan in credit to over 2,000 enterprises last year. It also houses more than 100 cross-border e-commerce firms, with annual transaction volume exceeding 3 billion yuan.
