The main structure of Phase 2 of the GU high-end photography equipment manufacturing base in Zhongshan's Tanzhou Town has been topped out recently.
Situated in Xinqianjin Village, the 200-million-yuan project is invested by Zhongshan-based company Grand Unitech (GU).
Spanning 13 mu (about 0.87 hectares), the facility will generate 400 million yuan in annual output value and contribute 12 million yuan in taxes upon full operation.
It will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1, with an investment of 50 million yuan, includes a 5-story factory building, and Phase 2, with an investment of 150 million yuan, has a 9-story factory building with cutting-edge equipment.
The base will be capable of producing 800,000 units of camera tripods and 300,000 units of precision gimbal stabilizers per year.
