The company achieved AEO certification in late 2024, significantly boosting its international competitiveness. "Middle East exports surged 26% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, with full-year growth projected to exceed 35%," Chen added.
Veteran AEO-certified TCL Group's subsidiaries, TCL AC Zhongshan and TCL Refrigeration Equipment, also reported stellar performance.
The conglomerate's air conditioner orders surpassed 12 million units year-to-date, with Middle East sales jumping 30%.
Customs data reveals Zhongshan's exports of household appliances and machinery to the Middle East reached 6.89 billion yuan ($960 million) in January-July 2025, marking an 18.3% YoY increase.
