Zhongshan's gross domestic product (GDP) reached 320.345 billion yuan in the first three quarters of 2026, up 5.2 percent year on year at constant prices.

The primary industry added 6.15 billion yuan, up 3.8 percent; the secondary industry added 166.966 billion yuan, up 6.4 percent; and the tertiary industry added 147.229 billion yuan, up 3.8 percent.

The added value of industrial enterprises above designated size rose 7.8 percent year on year. Manufacturing grew 7.5 percent, while the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water rose 12.1 percent.

Retail sales of consumer goods totaled 122.141 billion yuan, up 1.5 percent year on year. The consumer price index (CPI) edged up 0.1 percent; service prices were flat, while consumer goods prices rose 0.3 percent.

Zhongshan residents' per capita disposable income reached 53,959 yuan in the first three quarters, up 4.0 percent year on year.
