Vanyang Sci-Tech Park, the industrial redevelopment project that involves the largest single plot of land transferred in nearly a decade in Zhongshan, has recently reached a key construction milestone.

Main structures of the factory buildings are expected to be topped out in November this year, and the employee dormitories are scheduled to be delivered and put into use by the end of the year. The whole project is expected to be delivered by mid-2027.

Located in Dongfeng town, the project covers a total land area of about 37.2 hectares and adopts an innovative vertical manufacturing design in which vehicles can reach every floor and trucks can drive up into the buildings, creating multi-level modern factories.

The park can also customize floor height, load-bearing capacity, elevators and hoisting openings to suit companies' actual production needs, enabling integrated production, warehousing and logistics operations.

Focusing on smart home appliance manufacturing, Dongfeng's leading industry, Vanyang Sci-Tech Park is conducting targeted investment promotion along the upstream and downstream segments of the industry chain. Under the plan, more than 10 companies are expected to move into custom-built standalone buildings and start production by the end of this year.
