The launch ceremony of the Zhongshan Pilot-Scale Industry Service Alliance took place at Optical Valley Tower on October 29. 

Ten inaugural members including the Zhongshan Institute for Drug Discovery received official plaques, while 16 council members were elected. Zhongshan Institute of Changchun University of Science and Technology was named as the council chairman.

The alliance now boasts 59 members, with strategic support from invited financial institutions. 

At the event, the 2025 roster of pilot-scale platforms for technological achievement commercialization was unveiled. 

So far, Zhongshan has 12 municipal-level pilot-scale platforms and 4 incubation organizations spanning optoelectronics, biomedicine and healthcare, new materials, new energy, advanced equipment, and next-gen information technology.
