The 2025 Zhongshan Industrial Design Competition was launched on July 11, with a 1.02-million-yuan prize pool.

The competition invites global participation from enterprises, institutions, schools and universities, and individuals and teams, aiming to bridge design innovations with industrial demands.

Competitors may submit works across three categories: Product Design, Concept Design, and Industry-Specific Design, with focus areas including AI devices, advanced equipment, smart home appliances, medical instruments, communication design, and etc.

Two specialized sub-competitions will run concurrently: one targeting Torch Development Zone's optoelectronics industry and another for Guzhen's lighting sector.

Organizers will host supporting activities including creative workshops, corporate briefings, talent forums and professional training sessions throughout the event.
