The 2nd Zheng Jingkang Photography Biennale opened at Zhongshan Museum of Art on November 29, running through December 28. Both galleries at the museum and the Zhongshan Federation of Literary and Art Circles Activity Center are free to the public.

The exhibition showcases 90 curated works from across China. Wandering the galleries, visitors encounter the roar of dragon boat racers in The Race, the tech-lit visions of Greater Bay Area Code, and the misty poetry of Fog into Wonderland — each piece embodying the mission of "Capturing the Era, Preserving the Truth of History."

Zheng Jingkang (1904–1978), son of renowned Zhongshan-born enlightenment thinker, industrialist and educator Zheng Guanying, was a revolutionary photographer from Zhongshan's Sanxiang. He was the sole photography representative at the 1942 Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art. His lens pierced through the flames and smoke of wars to freeze pivotal moments of national awakening.
