Yang Xianyi High School of Zhongshan marked its 100th anniversary with a grand centennial ceremony on November 22.

The event drew descendants of General Yang Xianyi (Young Sen-yat), representatives from partner organizations, heads of sister schools, alumni worldwide and nearly 5,000 current faculty and students.

Outstanding students, meritorious teachers and distinguished alumni were recognized, while retired teachers were honored through a heartfelt flower-presenting ceremony.

The anniversary carnival began after the ceremony, featuring activities such as photo shooting, cultural product charity sales, calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and etc. The centennial celebrations also encompassed a cultural evening gala and the renovation of the school history museum, showcasing Yang Xianyi High School's achievements in education.
