The women's 3m springboard final at the 15th National Games diving competition concluded at Guangdong Olympic Sports Center on the afternoon of November 11.

Zhongshan's Lin Shan delivered a standout second-half performance to capture gold for Guangdong with 379.10 points. Sichuan's Chen Jia earned silver (373.05), while Olympic champion Chen Yiwen — also from Zhongshan — secured bronze with 368.45 points.

Both athletes were trained at Zhongshan Sports School, with their first coach Zhang Xiurong cheering from the stands. "Congratulations to them on their outstanding achievements, bringing honor to Zhongshan and pride to Guangdong!"

Having completed all National Games events, Lin Shan embraced her role as a "Zhongshan ambassador" during interviews: "The baseball/softball events here during the 15th Games make Zhongshan the perfect 'Baseball City' to visit. Come experience its vibrant energy!" 

Meanwhile, Chen Yiwen will return November 15 for a charity hike, adding: "Beyond famous Shiqi roast pigeon, Zhongshan offers cozy cafes. I recommend you to visit Sunwen West Road, a must-stroll pedestrian street."
