The Approval Conference for Female Soldiers for H1 2021 was held in Zhongshan Military Sub-District on the morning of March 21.

In 2021, among 31 participants in Zhongshan's online primary election, 7 qualified women were selected after examination and assessment for service, all of whom were college students.

This year, the Guangdong Provincial Conscription Office gave Zhongshan 5 seats for female soldiers. The female soldiers and their posts were determined at the conference.

Next, the 5 soldiers will go to the national defense education base for centralized quarantine, and they will serve across the country days after.

"I've always dreamt of dressing in military uniform. I feel so excited it finally came true today. I will learn more and improve my ability to become a better version of myself in the barracks," said Guo Xinru from Banfu Town.
