The south tower of Xiangshan Bridge on the Zhongshan Eastern Outer Ring Expressway was topped out recently.

Xiangshan Bridge has a main span of 880 meters, and the cable tower is about 270 meters tall, equivalent to a 90-storey building. The double-deck bridge is designed according to the two-way eight-lane traffic standards.

Upon completion, Xiangshan Bridge will become a double-deck steel truss cable-stayed bridge for highway with the largest span and the widest bridge deck in China.
