Xinhe Toll Station on Zhongshan's West Ring Highwaywas put into operation on the morning of July 24.

Located near Shanghesheng Village, Tanzhou Town, the toll station is the southernmost entry and exit of West Ring Highway, with three lanes each in the southbound exit yard and the northbound entry yard.

Xinhe Village near Xinhe Toll Station mainly lives on aquaculture and farming. In recent years, the village has built such facilities as a seafood street, fruit parks and the Salty-water Song Theme Park, thus gradually developing into an eco-friendly rural tourist destination and livable place.

West Ring Highway opened to traffic on January 15, 2023. It runs through 8 towns and districts and connects Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Highway, Zhongshan-Jiangmen Highway, Zhongshan-Yangchun Highway, West Coastal Highway and Xiangzhou-Haiquanwan Highway.
