The Changyi Road ramp, part of the South Outer Ring renovationproject, opened to traffic on May 16.

Vehicles from Changyi Road can enter South Outer Ring via the one-way single-lane ramp and then turn into Changjiang Road. Vehicles heading from west to east in South Outer Ring can also access Changyi Road via the auxiliary road.

After its opening, the ramp will greatly ease the traffic pressure of Bo'ai Road and Xingwen Road, and facilitate public travel around. At the same time, the Sanxi Village exit of South Outer Ring next to Changyi Road also opened on May 7, allowing drivers to enter Sanxi via South Outer Ring.

The renovation of South Outer Ring started on February 16, 2022, and is scheduled to be completed and open to traffic in 2024.
