During the just-ended May Day holiday (April 29 to May 3), over 14,000 inbound and outbound passengers travel through Zhongshan Port, including over 7,300 outbound passengers and over 6,700 inbound ones.

The passengers mainly traveled for outbound trips and visiting relatives, and the passenger flow peaked on the first three days of the holiday, especially on the first day that saw nearly 3,700 inbound and outbound passengers.

The number of outbound passengers peaked above 2,380 on May 1; and that of inbound passengers peaked above 1,980 on April 29.
